Half-time entertainment!
I don't know the length of a bb court so I'm not sure of the measurement at 1/2 court. I do know that he was at least an additonal 20 feet past that point - AWAY from the hoop!
GO AZUL!

a few shots of the mountains

...but the pics just don't do them justice.... I enjoyed this drive from LA to LV... although I wouldn't want to make it a regular event!

Remembering Gram Parsons . . .

Dang, this joshua tree is painful. Beautiful but painful.

Ana Popovic at Ace's in Bradenton - Valentine's Day 2010

She is hot AND she plays the guitar. Note to all my male blog readers.... you should go see her when she comes to your town. She's traveling in the states for a few months so now is your opportunity.

All the men were transfixed by her awesome guitar ability.
The women just wanted to dance.
For anyone who wanted to see her foot pedal.

Imitation Elise visits the Valley of Fire - north of LV, Nevada

Peace Lovin, Tree Huggin, Lazy Hippie Like Todd Snider :)

Skipper's Smokehouse...sometime a few weeks ago. I can't recall.

Imitation Elsie makes it thru the California Inspection

It wasn't much of an effort... just slow to 10 miles per hour and wait for the wave to pass on through. What's the point? Oh, more jobs. I get it.

Eric Lindell, Hermosa Beach, CA

No visit to LA is complete without a musical adventure or two. How lucky were we that Eric was in town?

Elsie and the BIG Chair

Outside an antique shop in LA. I couldn't resist the photo op.

Zzyxx Road in California

How in the world is that pronounced?

Hooray For Hollywood!

This is the suggested spot for viewing the HOLLYWOOD sign. However, being the rebel that she is... .Imitation Elsie insisted that we try to get closer.... closer still.....
Interesting garage door art found on the journey to the sign:
View of the Hollywood Dam and if the pic was just a little better, you'd be able to see downtown LA.
