Jan's birthday
We didn't tell them it was her birthday until after they sang happy birthday to someone else in the restaurant. Then two other people said it was also their birthday. So, the owner brought baklava!
I hope jan does not see this post!

Greek Orthodox Church in Tarpon Springs
Jan always wanted to go inside of this church to see the weeping icon. So, it's her birthday and we're doing what she wants. Very nice church built in the 50s.
Shamrock Pub history
Fun letter and history of the land under the pub. Neon sign reflections in the photo. I couldn't get a shot without some sort of dang reflection!

I don't feel well and just want to be left alone (text below)
She won't jump off sofa anymore.
She made a little Yelp when I took off her harness.
She wants to be hand fed. And yes, I do it.
She prefers to stay in bed or in her bed.
She seems to shake more than usual. Sometimes a little twitch.
She walks like a raccoon - hunched back and hobbling.
She yelped a little when I rubbed her neck and ears.
In contrast...
She will eat any chicken or treat that comes her way in typical Annie fashion.
If you tell her there is a kitty-kitty or squirrel in the yard she springs into action.
If someone comes to the door she is on full bark alarm.
She follows me from room to room as usual.
She potties outside and runs back and forth along the sidewalk.
She can't wait to get the mail everyday so she can run like the wind from the door to the mailbox.
That is why I haven't taken her to the vet yet. Perhaps she pulled a little muscle? Maybe she is depressed from the week of rain and gloom? I thought she might have a bad tooth but her breath does not indicate any teeth issues. If she is still like this when I return from DC I will take her. Jimmy will spoil her all weekend and that could be all she needs.

Olivia working on chicken for dinner
Tacos or nachos. Whatever you prefer. But first you have to pick all the chicken off the bone. She did a fabulous job and dinner was tasty.
