I'm considering a TV for the bedroom but to be honest, every time I look at the ads... well, it takes about a minute and then i decide I really don't need it. There are too many dang choices.
What screen is the best? Which brands are better than others? Who cares if it is HD when one doesn't have HD cable? I don't watch a lot of sports. In fact, I don't watch a lot of TV but I re-discovered that a TV in the bedroom helps me go to sleep quicker and keeps me sleeping longer. Total opposite of every study ever conducted but then my sleep pattern isn't normal either.
I have an ancient Toshiba in the LR that has been around forever it seems. It is still going strong after 12 or so years. Will I get that kind of value from a new flat-screen Toshiba?
Any feedback is appreciated.

Happy Belated Anniversary to me... 20 years at Medco
I thought in these times it would be a big deal to be with the same company for 20 years. Well, at my age anyway. It seems like changing jobs is the norm nowadays.
My grandfathers and mom both worked many, many years at the same company and I learned by example. Grandmothers were busy raising kids! That is a total full-time, life-long job!
August 20, 1990 I began working part-time at National Rx Services. Through the years the name has changed and the business has grown by leaps and bounds. I'm happy to have achieved this milestone with Medco and hope to work there for many more.
20 years.... dang, I'm OLD!
