What in the world???

Elsie and I were out in the garden and I heard/saw something move under the bamboo. I thought it was a cat at first but then it somehow crawled up the plastic fence and until it turned around I still couldn't tell what the heck it was....

Look at mama opossum with all those babies hanging off her! I don't know how she climbed that slick plastic fence but she did it...with all those little ones attached!

Small Dog Birthday Party

Liz hosted a birthday party for the small dogs: Dexter, Gaspar, Buffy, Spike, and Elsie. I don't have any good pics of the other dogs. The pic above isn't the best either. But, that's Elsie trying to choke down her piece of birthday cake. I had to pry it from her throat and nearly lost a finger.
Liz made the cake using chicken, sour cream, and shredded carrots for the top.
If more pics come my way, I'll add them.

Way behind with the blog....

...and I'm gonna try to get some stuff on here soon. I've been home 1 or 2 days out of the last two weeks and I'm tired!

Easter in Florida!

We worked the Sunday crossword puzzle.
Ate a fabulous dinnner of quiche, hummus, fruit, and pumpkin pie.

Talked on the phone a little. And swam in the pool.

Reduce your homeowners insurance by having your home inspected -

I just had mine inspected today and my policy dropped 422.00.

Apparently there are many discounts that we are allowed but don't know about because the insurance company doesn't ask us or educate us on how to provide proof of various items which will qualify our home for the rate reduction.

How did I learn about these discounts? Well, I received an invoice for 2010 insurance a few weeks ago and flipped. I called the agent and she told me about this inspection I could have done that would help, yadda, yadda, yadda.

I finally called the guy this morning. He was here by noon. At 1pm the agent called and told me my new rate. The inspection is good for FIVE YEARS!

Tell him you read about him on my blog. I HIGHLY recommend you give him a call. It is well worth the little time and money invested.

The fee is very reasonable... well worth it... guaranteed.
