Silk Floss aka Kapok Tree bloom

Jan and Johnny gave me this tree two years ago for Christmas. It was probably 5 feet tall when I planted it. It is at least 50 feet tall now. Google it and check out how big it can grow. The blooms are gorgeous. There were six and two were picked. Next year I bet it is covered.

I am having a hard time
Composing what I felt last night at this concert. It reminded me of the shows I used to attend at Hara Arena in Dayton. Smoking - not just cigarettes - Drinking. Swearing. Laughing. Dancing. Except for all of the damn cell phones her show took me back 30+ years.
