And tonight just after I snapped this pic Annie snapped at Elsie. I put the water bowl on the bed and they drink at the same time. Tonight was the first time I shot pics and it is also the first time Annie growled and snapped. Little Brat. I made her stop drinking until after Elsie finished.

Raised bowls do not help chihuahua choking and wheezing

But they sure are cute.
I used these for the first time last night and Annie immediately started wheezing with her first bite. So, that raised bowl theory goes out the window.

Kidney Stones! OUCH!

yep… another one today I think. Well, it started around 1am. Of course, as usual, I thought it was something else but as the minutes passed into painful hours I realized that I must be passing a stone.

I broke out the pain meds around 6am and have been taking 1/2 pill every hour or so. Modern medicine is amazing. I will keep this self-medicating routine for a few hours and then wean off and see if I still have pain.

I'm in Emergency Room Avoidance!

Beautiful Times Day card received today

I love the card. Woven paper makes it very cool and gives it some texture. The sparkle along the edge makes it shine. But I think my favorite part is the creative application of stickers sealing the envelope. One for me. One for Elsie. And one for Annabelle Beep- Beep! TY carole, tommy, and sparky.

Two shirts. Tablecloth fabric is in the washer now. I hope to get some of it going tomorrow - once I have more ice!

Life is good

Fun dinner with fabulous friends. Followed by a random and un-planned RAK that made a stranger's day. Then dice game with my buddies at the local tiki hut.   Oh, and a beer.  Just one.   Life IS good when I get out and enjoy it.
